
Alyssa joined the district in 2000 as a filing clerk while attending college. She served as an administrative assistant for several years and gradually became more involved in data and asset management, which led her to the position of the Business Programs Specialist. In 2021, Alyssa was promoted to Assistant Manager.
Reflecting on her time with the district, Alyssa says, “the district has provided me with valuable training and educational opportunities that have helped me grow in my role and prepare for future career advancements. I’ve also been able to participate in outside committees and groups, expanding my network within the water community.”
Alyssa is an influential figure in the water industry. She serves as the Chairperson for the Conservation Committee of the Denver Water Distributor Forum and is a board member for Colorado WaterWise, where she helped found and leads their Live Like You Love It educational program.
When asked about her vision for the district in the next decade, Alyssa shared, “we have always been a leader in the special district sector. My hope is that the district continues to innovate and grow by embracing new technologies and processes that will ensure we continue delivering the best possible service to our customers.”
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her two sons, Dylan and Cayden, and her husband Michael. The family stays active with hiking, traveling, and basketball.
