Platte Canyon Water & Sanitation has contracted with Diaz Construction Group Inc. to replace the water main in S. Depew Street from W. Ken Caryl Avenue to W. Canyon Trail.
This project is part of an on-going effort to update Platte Canyon’s aging infrastructure and improve the quality and reliability of water distribution in your neighborhood.
Mobilization for this project started today and and it is estimated that it will take two months to complete. This project will replace 1,785 feet of 8″ cast iron pipe with 8″ PVC pipe.
- Working hours will be from 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
- Short-term water outages will be required as the work progresses.
- Affected residents will be notified at least 24 hours in advance of the outages.
- Emergency shutoffs can occur during construction due to unforeseen circumstances.
