District Staff

Alyssa joined the district in 2000 and was appointed District Assistant Manager in 2021. She serves as the Chairperson for the Distributor Conservation Committee, is a Board member for the Colorado WaterWise, and is a member of the American Water Works Association and the Rocky Mountain Governmental Purchasing Association.

Vanessa was hired as Financial Administrator for the district in 2003. Vanessa is a licensed certified public accountant and is a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association.

Adam joined the district in 2016 as the GIS/Website/IT Technician. Adam’s duties include assisting in mapping and construction inspection documentation duties and managing the districts’ computer systems.

Bridget joined the district in 2019 to serve as the Communication & Administrative Services Coordinator. She is the main point of contact for all communications, customer service activities, and social media accounts. Bridget is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America and serves on the Colorado WaterWise Newsletter Committee.

Justin joined the district in 2008 and currently serves as the Construction Programs Manager. He is responsible for review of all water and wastewater facility construction plans. Justin is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a Level III Water Distribution System Operator and as a Level IV Wastewater Collection System Operator.

Chris joined the district in 2023 and was soon promoted to Construction Coordinator. He has Level IV certifications in both Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection. This is the highest level of certification offered by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board.

Armando joined the district in 1999 and was appointed to Operations Foreman in 2005. He was promoted to Operations Supervisor in 2024. Armando holds a Level IV Wastewater Collection System and Level III Water Distribution System certification through the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board.

Mike joined the district in 2013 and was promoted to Operations Foreman in 2024. He has Level IV certifications in both Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection. This is the highest level of certification offered by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board.

Bruce has worked for the district since 1984. He is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a Level II Water Distribution System Operator and as a Level III Wastewater Collection System Operator.

John joined the district in 2006. He has Level IV certifications in both Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection. This is the highest level of certification offered by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board.

Ben joined Platte Canyon as a water distribution and wastewater collection system operator in March 2020. He is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a Level I Water Distribution System Operator and as a Level I Wastewater Collection System Operator.

Derek joined the district in 2022. He is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a Level III Water Distribution System Operator and as a Level III Wastewater Collection System Operator.

Sean joined the district in 2024. He is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a Level II Water Distribution System Operator and as a Level III Wastewater Collection System Operator.

Avery joined the district in 2024. He is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a Level IV Water Distribution System Operator and as a Level III Wastewater Collection System Operator.
