Operations Staff Available 24/7/365

The District would like to recognize its operators for their diligent work maintaining and repairing our water and sanitation infrastructure during a difficult time. District customers continue to receive safe and reliable water distribution throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

District operators are responsible for the operation and maintenance of water distribution and wastewater collection infrastructure as well as all buildings, vehicles and all supporting facilities owned by the District. The operations staff consists of eight employees that fill the roles of Supervisor, Foreman and six Operators.

Operations staff members are trained and certified in operating and maintaining water and wastewater systems and have varying levels of certification through the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, District operators continue to work in the field maintaining and repairing district infrastructure while practicing social distancing and wearing protective face masks. Operations staff are the “face” of the District given their roles as first responders when emergencies occur. They respond to customer service calls and are available for emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the District lobby remains closed to the public. The District is fully operational, and staff will respond to all customer service calls. However, our operations staff will not enter customer homes unless it is an emergency. We ask that you please do not approach district operations staff in the field.

As always, we will have a member of the Operations staff on call after hours. If you have an emergency after our regular business hours, call the main office number at 303-979-2333, then follow the prompts to page the on-call staff person.

Thank you, District Operators, for your hard work and providing outstanding service to our customers!
