The Platte Canyon Water and Sanitation District has contracted with T Lowell Construction to replace the sewer main in S. Sheridan Blvd. from W. Fair Dr., south to Raccoon Hollar Park in Leawood. The pipe we are replacing has settled creating a flow issue. The replacement is necessary to maintain proper flow in the system.
The sewer main replacement project is scheduled to begin Monday, August 19, 2019. Working hours will be from 7:00am to 5:00pm. The district intends to complete this project in a timely manner in order to minimize the inconvenience to you and other District residents. The contractor will use a bypass system to maintain sewer flow so no disruption of service should be encountered by most residents. There may be minor disruptions to those homes directly connected to the portion of sewer main being replaced. 6228,6238,6248 and 6249 S. Sheridan Blvd. are the homes directly connected. You will be notified by the contractor and provided procedural instructions.
