The District realizes this project has had a severe impact to the residents on W. Canyon Avenue and W. Canyon Drive. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of the unplanned water outages that occurred due to the construction and the severe corrosion of the existing cast iron main in W. Canyon Avenue.
To switch over to the new water main, it will be necessary to shut the water off on W. Canyon Ave., S. Fenton St., and W. Canyon Drive on August 20, 2020. All affected residents are outlined on the map in red.
Water outage is estimated to last from 7 pm until 7 am.
The District is aware that many families are at home during this construction. If requested, the District can supply bottled drinking water to affected customers during the outage. To request bottled water, you may contact the office at 303-979-2333 or info@plattecanyon.org.
